There are some books that, while reading them, make the reader wish that magic was real. The language is stunning, and the characters are captivating - the unicorn most of all. But I fell immediately in love as soon as I caught the pace of the book.
They were lovely, but seemed to lack focus. I was surprised by the first two chapters.
